Welcome to the Brian Rice State Farm Agency! After growing up in Dyer, Indiana, I graduated from Wabash College. I started off my State Farm career as a cold caller in the afternoons while I was still attending Wabash, which was convenient for my schedule as it allowed me to still have ample time to study and dedicate what was left to get in my football workouts. I didn't know much about insurance at the time, and I thought that was due to me being young and inexperienced with any insurance related incidents of my own. After a couple months, I realized that I wasn't alone in not knowing a whole lot about insurance and it wasn't just due to my youth. The more people I spoke with, the more I realized that not all companies explain coverage and personalize it to fit their needs. That is where my passion for insurance began. After graduating from Wabash I didn't stop studying, I merely switched my subject from Psychology to Insurance to learn as much as I possibly could about the industry. I jumped into being a full-time licensed team member at a local State Farm in Crown Point, Indiana. Then after I worked my way up as a team member for just under 10 years, I was blessed with the opportunity to become a State Farm Agent and open up my own office in April of 2021. I am your State Farm Insurance Agent for Indiana and Illinois!

My passion comes from being able to educate everyone I talk to on what their coverage is and why we have it in place for you. My team and I are here to serve our neighbors by focusing on Auto, Renters, Condo, Homeowners, Life, Health, and Small Business Insurance.
